AMETHYST TEMPLE: VI(a). Trumpet lily strain derived from L. leucanthum var. centifolium, named and registered by J.M. Shaver. Amethyst Temple comes in deep shades of amethyst pink, grows to about 4-5 feet; blooms late (August on the northern prairies). Amethyst Temple is similar to Pink Perfection
Saskatoon -Margaret Driver. Bulbs seem to do well when planted in the spring in pots then transferred to lily beds in the fall. I have had limited success - lasted about three years- with both Amethyst Temple and Pink Perfection in several of my gardens .
