Cardinal  Cheeky Monkey


CARDINAL

CARDINAL (1c). A clone of L. tigrium x's L. amabile; named and registered by J.C. Taylor (1939) and introduced by the Department of Horticulture, Ontario Agriculture College (now Guelph University) in 1949; fire red reflexed petals with large dark spots; stems 40 to 60 inches; 12 to 15 flowers; blooms in late July into August.

CHEEKY MONKEY

CHEEKY MONKEY (1a). Hybridized, grown, introduced by Vletter and Den Haan Beheer B.V.N. Large salmon coloured flowers, petals slightly ruffled and tipped with orange; nectarines light yellow; no spots; pollen vivid redish-orange; stems green with dark markings; grows 36 to 48 inches; blooms mid-season.
