Lily Varieties and Species beginning with the letter "J"

JEWEL PIXIE

JEWEL PIXIE (1a/b). An Asiatic lily hybridized by E.A. McRae, grown by Oregon Bulb Farms, 1987; and named and registered by Cebeco Lilies in 1996. The flower has purple pink petals, a yellow throat, nectaries yellow-green to warm pink, no spots, and the pollen is moderate orange. The foliage is mid green. The stem grows to about 15" and is a atrong yellow green with maroon spots. This lily flowers early (late June to early July on the prairies) and lasts long. The stem may have up to six flowers .

Saskatoon - Margaret Driver: I have grown "Jewel Pixie" in both my gardens since it came on the market. It is an excellent border lily, puts on a great show and multiplies well. As a result I have the "Jewel" in more than one place in my current garden .
