Saskatoon -Margaret Driver : I purchased a bulb in spring 2005, grew the lily in a pot and then planted in one of my lily beds in the fall 2005. In 2006 as of early July the stem is about 42 inches tall and there are six buds. It looks as if Queen's Promise will bloom in late July or very early August. It will ve interesting to see how this "wide-cross" lily does in a northern prairie garden with no special protection.
